I too was surprised to make the connection that the non-descript number
on "Theory of Evolution" was the original forefather of the suspenseful,
beauty laden suckerpuncher from AI2 that has been one of my top 10 since
I first heard it over a year ago. The only connection is that weak
little piano line on the original.
There is also at least one other Link mix that I've heard several times
at parties. More of an extended version of the AI2 version, with a
stripped out middle seque with the beatiful piano solo and the hard as
nails snare. Anybody know where I can find this one?
